The bill (Reg. No. 1096) suggests amending the Law “On the collection and accounting of single contribution for mandatory state social insurance” in order top settle the following issues:
ensure equality in paying the increased single contribution by all categories of persons receiving higher rate pension;
determine the procedure of payment of higher rate of single contribution by research (research and pedagogical) workers working part-time.
According to the members of the Committee, realization of the proposed initiatives will establish common approaches and concretize the list of persons, who pay 6.1 % single contribution, and thus accord equal rights and obligations to all persons, whose pensions are granted according to the Law “On State Service”. This shall also lead to unambiguous interpretation of the procedure of single social contribution payment form full-time and part-time income.
